The latest hot super fruit that has been found to be beneficial to life and health as we know it are “pomegranates,” those awkward little chaps with a brown leathery skin yet inside, packed with little red jewels.
It was these that gave rise to the pomegranates common name, from the French grenade because the seeds looked like the filling of a hand grenade known in Persia since
ancient times. Some scholars think that it may have been the pomegranate that Eve ate instead of the apple and it as been revered in many different
cultures since then, both as a symbol and as a medicine.

Now the anti-oxidant searchlight has hit the pomegranate and the research is
coming in fast and furious, although it must be noted that some research is
being funded by the producers of pomegranate juice.
Whilst the provisional results are impressive there is still a lot more to be done before the verdict is absolutely conclusive. For example, it is said that the main ingredient of the pressed juice is ellagic acid which is unable to be assimilated by the body. There are others that say it is not known if there is a substance within the juice that is the magic bullet or if there are other constituents that cause the amazing effects.
We do know that pomegranates are rich in flavenoids and polyphenols, higher than tomatoes, green tea or red wine and absolutely bursting with vitamin C as well as other important vitamins.
So far there is evidence from the University of California that drinking 8ozs of pomegranate juice per day significantly cuts down the effects of prostate cancer in men. It is not known if there was a control of men drinking 8ozs of any other juice, but the pomegranate drinkers did display very good beneficial effects.
From Israel comes the research that a daily glass of pomegranate juice can reduce the levels of LDL which is the “bad” cholesterol whose fat clogs up the arteries which then leads to hart disease.
From Case Western Reserve University comes the news that pomegranates have had a significant effect on interleukin-1b which is an inflammatory chemical associated with arthritis. It also had a beneficial counter effect on certain enzymes that are responsible for the destruction of cartilage in the body, which is the material vital for allowing the bones to interact with each other. Although this is a preliminary study and has only been carried out on materials in a laboratory and not on an actual person, indications are promising.
All in all it would appear that a daily dose of pomegranate juice is going to be beneficial to your health. Some people must think so as sales in one supermarket chain in England have jumped by 300% and unless you have a particular medical condition where you are taking prescribed medication, it may be better to swap it for your orange juice in the morning.
There are other ways to enjoy pomegranates, such as sprinkling fresh pomegranate on your breakfast cereal or using in a salad. Although it sounds good and tastes great, taking pomegranate vodka or tequila is not really a health option!

This is a Fantastic article about the beauty within, and taking care of our bodies. Each one of us have three bodies, we have . A Physical body
. An Emotional body And
. A Spiritual body
All of these bodies need care.
All our bodies are connected and are part of a whole. If we neglect the care of one of them, then the others start to become neglected. So, by taking care of all three, we can become fully balanced and achieve success in anything we do.
When we are fully engaged in taking care of our bodily needs, such as keeping our bodies in good shape, exercising, eating right and living a stress free lifestyle.
Our emotional needs such as keeping good friendships, having a long and happy marriage, living with our loved ones and tolerating, forgiving and understanding others.
Finally our spiritual needs such as chanting gods name, reading Gods books, praying and giving praise to God and helping others that are less fortunate then us. We become most happy.
Our physical body
Our physical body is our outer body, flesh and bones. This is the body we work physically to build and to keep healthy. By keeping this body in shape and in health, we build our self-esteem, our self confidence and our love for ourselves.
When we work hard to have a good physical body, it means that we are truly grateful for our body. By keeping it in shape, in optimal health and appearance we build our love and appreciation for ourselves.
We also build an image that is appreciated by others. When we work hard to create a good image of our outer appearance, others see it and think highly about us.
They see that we are achievers, that we are someone special and because of this more and more people will want to be around us, or with us. They will want to listen to us. This creates self confidence in ourselves, which helps our other bodies as well.
emotional body
Our emotional body is our second body. This body is like our subtle body. It is what deals with our emotions. Having a satisfied emotional body is very essential, because without our emotional body in balance, our emotions start to wreck havoc on our physical body.
Our emotions are what drive us to do the things we do to our physical body. Without a balanced emotional state, our emotions would start to tell us things that would not benefit our body, such as “You’re not strong enough to exercise everyday why don’t you skip it today. Tomorrow you can try again” or “I don’t care about your health right now, I’m sad and I need support why don’t you eat something, so I can feel better.”
Our emotional body loves attention and when we satisfy it with good attention then it becomes pleased and is willing to co-operate with our other bodies.
Our spiritual body
Our spiritual body is our soul. Our soul is our body which is connected with God or the universe. By helping our soul to become more in tune with God or the universe, we become more happy ourselves. The soul controls our love, joy and happiness that we feel every time we help someone, every time we do a good deed or give our love and support. Every time we praise God or give thanks to the universe, our soul becomes happier.
Our spiritual body is the life giving force within ourselves. Without it, we would not be able to move, think, feel, or do anything for that matter. The soul is what gives us life.
How to keep all three healthy
Our physical body
We need to keep our physical body fit, strong, and healthy by doing daily exercises, by eating right and by doing our best to live a stress free lifestyle. If we can achieve these things, our physical body will be in top shape. We will feel full of life, energy, vigor, strength and confidence.
Our emotional body will thank us for our efforts because from having, a well toned and healthy body, we create good remarks and admiration from others. We also have good sex appeal. Our emotional body loves these things, so by keeping our physical body healthy we start to help our emotional body as well.
There are many exercises, that can help to create a great figure, and I have listed a few in the second chapter that will greatly help in creating the figure desire most.
Our emotional body
We need to keep our emotional body healthy by keeping good relationships and fixing broken ones. If we keep hold of old broken relationships and don’t try to fix them, either by healing the relationship or by forgiving and then forgetting the relationship then our emotional body still feels hurt, and the hurt can cause other problems.
Another thing about our emotional body is that it keeps thousands upon thousands of situations and thoughts inside itself. If any of these thoughts or situations are not fulfilled or completed then we are renting rent-free space in our brain for those hurtful or unfulfilled things.
If we can complete those things or forgive and forget, we can open our emotional body to better and greater things to come.
One way to help our emotional body is by talking to ourself in a mirror. This may sound funny at first but it is a very good way of helping our emotional body in its health.
We can start out by asking our self “How are you today?” and “It is good to see you again”. Then we can start by saying “I would like to complement you today on…”
We then start to list all the things that we have accomplished today. They can be very little things like going for a walk, or chewing our food properly so that our digestion will work better, or that we made a step towards a better relationship with someone, or that we are doing more exercise, or we are completing one of our goals.
Our emotional body loves hearing all these praises and it will thank us afterwords by giving us a happy and satisfied feeling.
After we are finished talking to our emotional body, we can tell our self in the mirror that we love our self. Having a healthy respect for our self is very important.
Saying this to ourself, helps a great deal in balancing our bodies, because many times we may feel that our life is missing love, or friendship, or we may be unsatisfied with our physical body and because of that unsatisfied feeling, our emotional body is affected.
However, when we tell ourself that we care and we do love ourself our emotional body becomes happier and is then more willing to listen to our needs.
Our spiritual body
We can keep our spiritual body happy by giving in charity to others in need, by being kind and humble to others, by praising God or the universe, by setting an example for others to follow.
Anything that we can do that will help others in living better, in feeling better and in learning more about God or the universe makes the soul happier. Our souls are happiest when they are in tune with God or the universe. So, by doing acts of kindness and charity to the less fortunate ones, we can further our progress towards the greater good.
If we can practice on a daily basis, be kind to everyone, be humble to others, and learn to forgive and forget, our souls will develop a great happiness, which will help us to become balanced in all three of our bodies.

Information is arranged in an easy-to-use format that allows readers to quickly find what they need. The book includes numerous tables and product lists, recipes for making homemade cleaners, and a variety of web-based resources. Exercise
Endorphins are hormones that are chemically related to the drug morphine! When you exercise regularly and for a prolonged period of time, endorphins are secreted by the pituitary gland. These hormones are known to block pain, decrease appetite, decrease anxiety and induce feelings of euphoria. In a recent article on YogaJournal.com, Dr. Timothy McCall states, “Studies have found that it (yoga) reduces levels of cortisol (a stress hormone that’s also secreted by the adrenals), which is often elevated in people with the disease (depression). And astudy in India found that a Yoga program that included asana, pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation raised levels of serotonin and lowered levels of monoamine oxidase – twoneurochemicals involved in depression. ” There are several types of Yoga. Some are more focused on raw exercise, whereas some are more meditative in nature. The five points of Yoga, according to the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres, include proper exercise, proper breathing, proper relaxation, proper diet, and finally, positive thinking and meditation. Thatshould be enough proof for you. Get out your Yoga mat. Go jogging. Dance. Or just breathe!
Get a Massage
Massage helps the energy flow through the body and eliminates toxins, decreasing stress, anxiety and symptoms of depression. Touch is soooo healing. Why? Because it helps the body release many mood enhancing chemicals such as dopamine and serotonin and reduces the stress hormone cortisol and adrenaline. It alsoincreases endorphin levels, which helps alleviate pain. Massage lowers noradrenaline and lowers the stress hormone ACTH (adrenocorticotrophic hormone), boosts the immune system, stabilizes blood sugar levels, improves lung function andpeak air flow, and is something YOU SHOULD BE DOING ONCE OR TWICE WEEKLY. This is health care right here, at your fingertips. If you don’t like people touching you, which is quite common, then try a Thai Massage – you are fully clothed for this one, but it will still have your serotonin flowing like a river!

Meditate and Do Inner Work
There is so much more to you than meets the eye. Half of your reactions to things are due to childhood programming. Some of this programming is healthy and some of it is not. Sometimes depression can be a symptom of deeply embedded negative childhood beliefs that you don’t even know you have. Self-knowledge and self-awareness are key to freedom from depressionin this case. While you will always have good and bad days, the more we know ourselves, the more we are free to make positivechoices in our lives. Meditation is key, and spending quiet time monitoring your feelings and just observing them is a wonderful way to understand the way you think. Once you dothat, you can change it. You just might change your very perception.
Eat for Happiness
You are what you eat, what you breathe, what you think, what you do. It makes sense that what you put into your body you then put out. So filling yourself up with empty calories may besatisfying at the time, but it will be like a quick, meaningless fling. If you take a look at the foods being hailed as “super foods,” it becomes evident that you can change your mental outlook by changing your diet. The body and mind are interconnected. Among other benefits, foods such as beans, berries, broccoli, salmon, soy and spinach, for example, help boost brain power and immunity.
Aromatherapy
This is a great natural mood enhancer. Not just a nice-smelling candle here or there, but using true essential oils in combination with massage. Fragrance molecules move from the skin into the bloodstream due to the fat-soluble nature of the oils. Sensors at the back of the nostrils then translate the information for the neurons in the brain. Essential oils remain in the body for four to 24 hours before being eliminated through the lungs and kidneys. Since the oils are natural, they leave behind no toxicity. It’s obvious that massage feels great, but a new study in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that a 20-minute evening back massage, when done with pain meds, not only relieves pain, but also reduces anxiety for post-operative patients. Uplifting aromas include sandalwood, ylang-ylang, bergamot, jasmine, lavender, geranium, rose and peppermint.
Color Therapy
Color therapy is a holistic therapy, thousands of years old dating back to Egypt, China and India. This is how it works: Color, being a form of light, is also a form of energy. Color therapy utilizes the vibrations to balance the body’s energy centers and to stimulate the body’s healing process. The energy relating to each of the seven spectrum colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet) resonates with the energy of each of the seven main chakras/energy centers of thebody. Happy colors include pink (for the heart, to evoke love) and green (also for the heart, for growth and creativity) and red for passion (the root color) – so long as your depression isn’t combined with anger!
Talk. Talk. Talk.
Taking time for oneself is yet another effective means for discovering happiness. Try setting aside an hour each week to bounce thoughts off an independent person, an expert listener with no direct ties to your life. Psychotherapy is a popular option for those who desire an impartial sounding board. A psychotherapist’s job is not to tell a patient what to do, but rather to direct the conversation, in a non-judgmental way, so that the patient remains focused on bettering him or herself.
Acupuncture
Another treatment for depression, acupuncture, has been proven to increase serotonin and endorphin levels, and recommended for use with Chinese Herbal Medicine. The herbs work at a root level – addressing disharmony within the body. When combined with Chinese Herbal Supplements, acupuncture has been known to evoke a smile or two!
Get your vitamin D
The sun gets a bad wrap… but, taking sunlight exposure away causes problems of its own. Depression being one of them. Sunlight provides people with the much needed nutrient, Vitamin D. Feeling like your not seeing the light? Increasing your ingested Vitamin D will do the trick. The Institute of medicine recommends 200 IU (international units) of Vitamin D a day forpeople up to 50 years old. 400 IU for people between 51-70 and about 600 IU for people over 70. Foods rich in Vitamin D include milk, salmon, Vitamin D fortified orange juice.
Herbal Supplements
If you are down in the dumps, then combine herbal remedies with your daily meditation, Yoga practice, healthy diet and walks in the park. These whole food supplements are non-addictiveand yet have been used for centuries to uplift your perspective. Obviously, if you are on medication, check with your doctor, but whole food herbs are exactly that, dried leaves and roots, so they are a very natural supplement.
Keeping Perspective
Ever been on an airplane and looked down through the tiny window to the planet below? Everything looked small and certainly of less consequence than when you are on the ground, right? Well, communing with nature is based on the same principal. Trees, mountains, oceans, flowers, and beautiful sunsets—these free gifts are waiting for you. Enjoy them. And, in order to enjoy these gifts, all you have to do is be alive and open to them. After all, we are not here to spend all our time bottled-up inside, hunched over a computer keyboard.
It’s all about love, love, love.
Love what you do, who you are, and whom you are with. Relationships are key to happiness. This is why it can be very traumatic when you move to a location where you don’t know anyone. Some people deal with this well, but others find this isolation too much to bear and become depressed. Therefore, if you are relocating, go out of your way to meet people and reach out to them.
Make your happiness a priority.
Perhaps it sounds selfish, but actually it is the most generous thing you can do for the world. When you’re less than happy and you can’t give of yourself, then you aren’t serving anyone, evenyourself. On the other hand, if you feel good, you can give of yourself and express yourself in the world. From happiness springs generosity and all those other virtuous qualities we know we should have, but often don’t. So start by being generous with yourself. Allow yourself to do what you want (go hiking for the weekend, buy new clothes, go for that full-day spa retreat…) and ask for what it is you want from others. Askyourself daily, “What do I want?” and wait for an epiphany. Then go get it. After all, happiness is just a muscle. Work it out.

As sure as the sun rises every Easter morning, many moms and dads give in to “Easter bunny” temptation and buy a rabbit for their kids, vastly underestimating the amount of care that bunnies require. Weeks later, when “bunny fever” has subsided, many will consign now-unwanted bunnies to outdoor hutches, dump them at animal shelters, or simply set them free outdoors, where they will starve or be killed by predators. Most will end up dead or abandoned before their first birthday.
Kids Begging for an “Easter Bunny”?
Ask yourself this:
Are you ready to possibly shell out more than $100 to get bunny neutered or spayed? Bunnies become sexually mature between 4 and 6 months of age. Left intact, they often chew, spray, bite, smell, and make more bunnies.
Are you looking forward to more potty-training and bunnyproofing? Bunnies suffer horribly in cages and must be litterbox trained so that they can live happily in your home, but if your home isn’t rabbitproof, they will sharpen their teeth on electrical wires, house plants, or your new IKEA chaise or oak table.
Is your child planning on taking bunny to college? Bunnies can live to be 10 years old, so you’re looking at a commitment that will last for many Easters to come.
Rabbits must be brushed regularly because they shed like crazy and are susceptible to hairballs; if they get one, they can’t cough it up like cats do. They have to be taken to the vet and treated (possibly even operated on) or they’ll die.

Do you like playing beauty shop? Clipping nails is no walk in the park, especially when Thumper tries to thump you in the stomach with his powerful back legs!
If you answered, “No way!” to any of these questions, please pass up those cute animals in store windows this Easter and choose stuffed animals instead. Remember, bunnies are not a child’s toy; they are at least a 10-year commitment.
Fascinating Rabbit Facts
Famous for their reproductive abilities, rabbits can have multiple litters of up to nine young, known as “kittens,” each year. Bunnies are born helpless in a shallow hole lined with grass and mamma’s fur, but they grow rapidly and are very social animals who live together as a family.
Although rabbits build nests, the parents do not stick around much during the day after their kids are born since they might attract predators. The youngsters hunker down at the bottom of the nest, hiding until mom shows up for mealtimes.
A rabbit’s teeth never stop growing! Like beavers, they are kept worn down by gnawing on food and wood. But they aren’t rodents! They are called lagomorphs.
Normally, adult rabbits occupy about 2 acres or even more if food is in short supply.
Why Bunnies Aren’t Suitable for Young Children
Rabbits are extremely sensitive, and the enthusiasm of even a gentle toddler is too stressful for bunnies. Rabbits are ground-dwelling animals who become frightened when held and restrained. The result? Children lose interest and the bunny is left alone in a cage or abandoned.
Be Prepared
Spay and Neuter: Rabbits will live healthier and longer lives when altered and won’t contribute to the overpopulation problem. As your companions, they will be calmer, easier to litter train, and able to enjoy the company of other animal friends because they won’t exhibit such aggressive behavior. Surgery can be safe for rabbits, but it is important to choose a knowledgeable and experienced rabbit veterinarian.
Rabbitproof: Since your bunny is happiest being a part of the family, you can provide a safe place for him or her by redirecting electrical wires and moving plants and other furnishings out of the way. Because of their instinct for digging, it is best to provide a large box or basket filled with shredded paper. Your bunny will enjoy lots of toys to play with, such as untreated wood, straw, wire cat balls, keys, paper towel rolls, and hard plastic baby toys.
Caregiving: Rabbits love attention! Groom them at least once a week to control shedding and for quality bonding time. Contrary to the belief that rabbits like to be left alone, bunnies need daily monitoring and space for running, jumping, and using those hind legs. Confining them to a wire hutch without interaction, exercise, or comfort is cruel. A diet of grass, hay, fresh vegetables, and a limited amount of pellets will keep your bunny in shape.
Adopting: Clearly, rabbits aren’t for everyone. Are you a gentle adult living in a quiet household? If you think that you’re someone who would enjoy sharing life with a bunny, please visit your local shelter or rabbit rescue group. Please NEVER buy bunnies from a pet store. These animals often come from rabbit mills, where they are overbred. Dealers and “pet” stores usually request 4-week-old bunnies because they require less space and are “cuter,” but bunnies of this age are ill-prepared to be weaned from their parents. An animal who is purchased at a pet or discount store will be replaced by another one from these rabbit mills, leaving one less home for a bunny already in an animal shelter awaiting adoption.
Fruits and vegetables are an important part of a healthy eating plan. But is getting enough sometimes a challenge? Not any more.
Almost all fruits and vegetables are low in the things you don’t want (like sodium, calories and fat) but still pack a powerful punch of nutrients, vitamins and fibre. Even if you have picky eaters to feed, these seven sure-fire tips will help you add more of the good stuff to your meals and snacks without even trying.
![]()
1.Try something new. If you’re bored with your fruits and veggies, chances are you’re not getting enough variety. Next time you go grocery shopping, try fruits or vegetables you’ve never had before; for example, papaya, lychee, guava, bamboo shoots and rapini.
2.Save time with frozen or canned. While fresh is best, canned or frozen fruits and vegetables are good alternatives. Be sure you have some handy for when you’re short on time. And while they have about the same nutritional value as fresh, check the label to ensure that there’s no sugar or syrup added (for canned fruits) and that veggies have no salt added.
3.Soup it up! Soups are a great way to get more veggies into your diet . Puree squash, broccoli, carrots, peppers — or just about any vegetable you can think of — and add them to your favourite soup recipe. But don’t stop there: Find and try recipes for fruity soups that use melon or apple.
4.Add zing to tomato sauce or chili. Another way to get more vegetables into the mouths of picky eaters is by grating carrots, broccoli, mushrooms or zucchini into their favourite tomato sauce or chili. Chances are they won’t even notice. But even if you’re not trying to sneak them in, adding vegetables to homemade or store-bought sauce will add flavour and nutrients.
5.Keep healthy snacks within reach. Keep a bowl of fresh fruit, fruit salad, cut up veggies or pre-packaged baby carrots, snow peas or celery sticks on the most visible shelf in your refrigerator. The next time you or a family member heads to the fridge for munchies, you’ll have a no-fuss, no-mess snack waiting.
6.Mix ‘em up. Choosing fruits and vegetables of different colours is a good way to reduce your risk of cancer, heart disease and stroke. So mix up dark green, orange and red items to make a colourful salad. But don’t be afraid to mix fruits with vegetables; for example, try a spinach salad with orange slices and strawberries.
7.Keep it smooth and tasty. Get one or two servings of fruit early in the day by having a smoothie for breakfast. You can use just about any fruit you want for a fast and easy way to start the day. The Dietitians of Canada recommend you whirl up the following in a blender:
125 ml of milk or orange juice
175 ml of flavoured yogurt
125 ml of fruit (whatever you have on hand)
You can also add a few ice cubes or use frozen fruit. Enjoy!

How to Create Your Own Spa Treatment
from wikiHow – The How to Manual That You Can Edit
There is nothing more relaxing and pampering than a wonderful DIY facial and home spa treatment. The DIY spa treatments most widely considered to be genuinely effective include facial steaming, facial peels, facial masks, microdermabrasion, and photorejuvenation facial lasers.

Steps
- Pick a good day that no one is going to be home so you can focus on yourself.
- Cleansing: First, start any DIY spa treatment with squeaky clean skin. Use a gentle cleanser, not soap, with warm water. Cleansers with a soy base are less irritating to the skin.
- Try some Facial Steaming: Facial steaming can be as simple as heating up water in a large bowl in the microwave or on the stove, draping a towel over your head and letting your skin absorb the steam for 5 minutes. For a rejuvenating steam add green tea and some herbs such as rosemary, thyme, or mint to the water. Facial steamers will open up the pores providing a deep cleansing by steaming out embedded dirt, as well as hydrates the skin.
- Toning: Tone skin with a stimulating toner rich in emollients and antioxidants.
- Facial Masks: Once a week, give yourself a skin enriching treatment with a moisturizing and hydrating facial mask. There are several OTC options or you can make your own mask using common ingredients such as avocado, banana, or aloe mixed with freshly squeezed citrus juice and a drizzle of olive or nut oil.
- Facial Peel: Once a week, try a stimulating facial peel with an OTC product that contains an alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA) or beta hydroxyl acid (BHA). You can also easily make your own using any fruit acid such as fresh grapefruit juice, add a few crushed plain aspirin, and one half packet of unflavored gelatin into one egg white stiffly whipped.
- Microdermabrasion: Once or twice a week, give your skin a microdermabrasion treatment which will get rid of dead skin cells and stimulate cell renewal. There are several types of microdermabrasion products to chose from which are all effective. Use an OTC microdermabrasion scrub, a microdermabrasion cloth or a hand held microdermabrasion scrubbing wand. Studies suggest that 5 to 6 home microdermabrasion treatments are equivalent to one professional spa microdermabrasion treatment!
- Check out the new Facial Laser Treatments: There are several different home facial laser devises to choose from including the ever popular derma wand, and the oxylight. The Baby Quasar or “Baby Q†is the newest facial laser to be introduced on the market and has been quite a hit. (It was originally designed to be sold as a professional spa photo rejuvenation treatment but was recently released to be sold to the home consumer). The current correlation is that 3 to 4 home facial laser treatments are equal to the results achieved from one professional IPL treatment.
- Do a Facial Wraps: A simple facial wrap can be achieved with either an OTC product or by soaking nori seaweed in warm vitamin water until soft and applying it on the skin for 15 minutes.
- Moisturize: After completing a DIY spa treatment with a moisturizer that is rich in emollients as well as a strong antioxidant as an active ingredient such as vitamin C or copper peptides. Hyaluronic acid, retinol, DMAE, and alpha lipoic acid are also excellent ingredients to look for in a moisturizing skin care treatment.
- Use Sunscreen: Last but not least always use sunscreen to protect your skin from sun damaging UV radiation or all your efforts on DIY spa treatments will simply be undone by overexposure to the sun.

- Take your time because you have all day.
- A spa is always better with a best girlfriend.
- Relax as much as you can and don’t think about problems or anything all day.
- Turn on calming music to create a better feeling of relaxation.
- Scented candles are good for making people relax more.
Warnings
- Always try a new product on a small patch of skin first to see if any reaction develops.
- If making your own natural spa facial treatments, don’t use any ingredient that you are allergic to!
- Don’t over do it! Facial skin is actually quite delicate and can become irritated quite easily.
- Do NOT do both an AHA peel and Microdermabrasion. These are both very powerful exfoliants, and should not be used together (or within approximately three weeks). Choose one or the other, NOT BOTH.

Qigong (or ch’i kung) is an internal Chinese meditative practice which often uses slow graceful movements and controlled breathing techniques to promote the circulation of qi within the human body, and enhance a practitioner’s overall health. There are also many forms of qigong that are done with little or no movement at all, in standing, sitting and supine positions; likewise, not all forms of qigong use breath control techniques.
In its simplest form, the Chinese character for qi, in qigong, can mean air, breath, or “life force”. Gong means work, so qigong is therefore the practice of “working” with ones “life force”.
